Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. Her father Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on 5 May 1998. Her career has seen her had 12 WTA singles titles, including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player. She's won two other Majors in this specialty the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. With her, the Belgian tennis superstar she was a WTA 1000s winner in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. This feat was only achieved by four couples competing in female doubles. Only four couples that achieved this feat during women's doubles. The same year she won the title in Melbourne before she was ranked number one in the world when it comes to doubles. She was trained by an ex- Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the 2019 season, and partly at the beginning of 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has coached her from the year 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
